Scheduled to be up and running this summer, the Mercedes House by Ten Arquitectos will provide a fresh new look to the bustling streets of Midtown Manhattan. With spectacular views of De Witt Clinton Park and the Hudson River, the building zig zags vertically and diagonally to preserve city side streets.
The winding feature of the structure also allows for each residential unit to enjoy natural light and air throughout the day, and many even have their very own rooftop garden. The massive 1.3 million sq ft structure features 865 residential units, commercial and storage spaces, a neighborhood market, health club, horse stables for the NYPD, and of course, a state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz dealership.

9 means everlasting in chinese culture.
It’s a pretty overdue awakening. Although I think it’s something most people realize time and time again—it’s especially emphasized when you first came to Penn. It’s pretty much like “yeah,IwassmartinhighschoolandIdidn’treallytrythathard” but then you come here and you wtf everyday.
Especially in light of OCR, it can be a bit disillusioning to see the “Not Invited” on PennLink.
But actually, for me, I think the most enlightening was taking my CIS class. Because truthfully, it doesn’t come innate to me and I struggle, but this struggle makes me want to try harder. It also makes me realize that there are people who are SO talented, you can’t help but be wow-ed by them. There are people here who code like no other, understand the hard sciences in such a deep way, natural leaders with that charisma, and so much more.
Penn, for all its unnecessary(?) stress, is a great place to come to be inspired and be humbled.

“Our story is the story of the universe. Every piece of everyone, of everything you love and everything you hate, of the thing you hold most precious, was assembled by the forces of nature in the first few minutes of the life of the universe, transformed in the hearts of the stars or created in their fiery deaths.
And when you die, those pieces will be returned to the universe in the endless cycle of death and rebirth. What a wonderful thing it is to be part of that universe. And what a story, what a majestic story.”
Professor Brian Cox, Wonders of the Universe.
